Summary of Responsibilities:

Programming. Conducts individualized criterion referenced inventories of behavior repertories (assessments) for all students on an annual basis. Presents individualized instruction to all students with a minimum per student and measures, graphs and analyzes all students' progress on all IEP objectives on a daily basis. Analyzes student progress on a daily or moment-to-moment basis and working closely with Behavior Analyst Supervisors to design phase changes and note objectives for each individual student. Work with Behavior Analyst Supervisor on the development of curricula and behavior procedures to be followed in the classrooms. Supervises and guides teacher aides in the application of behavioral techniques. Ensures that programs are followed, and data recorded appropriately. Models appropriate behavior for all classroom staff.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate efforts of staff assigned to the residence.  Schedule and chair weekly staff meetings. Accurately complete residential reports and attend all Program Planning Team meetings (annual, semi-annual, and other).  Acts as liaison between all contracted services and agencies for the IRA-facilitating prompt notification and coordination of contracted services.  Guarantee that any deficiencies present in the physical environment are corrected in a timely fashion.  Ensures compliance with regulations (federal, state and local) and agency policies and procedures.  Develop and maintain records of emergency evacuation (fire drills) in accordance with state and federal regulations.  Develops a budget for the home, and ensures that operations of the home fall within these budgetary guidelines.  Participates in In-Service training.  Becomes certified in First Aid, CPR, SCIP, Medication Administration within 3 months of employment. Directly responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of all consumers residing within this home.  Follows all Hawthorne Foundation policies and procedures.  On call 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Programming. Develops a physical education program curriculum for the school age population (elementary/middle/high). Develops weekly and daily programs with educational personnel to establish an attain goals for each individual student (i.e. weekly lesson plans). Conducts a daily program in physical education for the school age population, and documents daily progress. Promotes and attends Special Olympic Training Programs/Community programs for the benefit of the students and the community. Assists in the establishment of intra-murals and/or interscholastic sports programs for all students. Supervises and guides teachers/teacher aides in application of teaching techniques within physical education program. Assists in the supervision of recreational programs directly or indirectly through assistants/volunteers. Supervises staff during student participation in community based Special Olympic programs to ensure a safe, productive environment for all students. Supervises summer swimming pool program.
